Khwabgah - Fatehpur Sikri

Khwabgah

Khwabgah( Dream house).

This building is Khwabgah ,means dream house.
This building the ground floor, you can see big stone bed,old time
it was surrounded by rose water,Emperor used sandal wood
steps to reach bed.The interesting thing of the building structure is, the coloums were short, but cant help it to bown down when you go inside, why they build like this,
they build it purposefully.Usualy Rajput people were above 6ft height,
they wont bowndown to anyone.
So if they came to see Akbar, they have to bown down there head, because of short height,so giving respect to Emperor .

This is Palace guide verson of story.
Real story have no idea.:))

Infront of Khwabgah can see one platform surrouned by water, this is Anup Talao.
Old time artist used to sing &perform for Akbar.Short of recreation place for Emperor Akber.

The Lotus stone throne, where Akbar used to sit, when he meet his ministers,
they sit four side of the kisoks. This is most magnificentely sculptured&most
photographed stone column, its inside of Diwan-ke-Khas. Its very unusal interior,4 stonebridge leads to centre column .
Histry says interesing reason, the four stonebridge signifies as Akbar ruler of four continents. Lotus means symbol of Godess "Saraswathi" the Godess for learning and creation.
