Otok Brac (simply meaning Brac Island in Serbo-Croat) was a wonderful surprise. On my trip to Croatia I was hoping to see the bigger tourist attractions like Dubrovnik, but I'm glad I spent actually most of my stay in Croatia on this island. We travelled there with my friend's parent's boat, which they docked in the small town of Milna. It was nice to just go with the flow and not worry about seeing the big tourist attractions (I never reached Dubrovnik). Milna certainly was a tiny jewel in the Adriatic. The only tourists there were people with boats (mainly other Croatians and Italians) and at night they intermingled with the locals. At night, relax by the harbor and sip on "Mish-Mosh" (Orange Fanta with red wine...It's surprisingly good!).
