I'm from Northern California, and I have to sort through my collective emotions and consult with family and friends living in Southern California before I can write an interesting and fair assessment of this city. However, suffice to say at this point that there is really no city in the world today more unique and that can claim to excercise greater cultural influence at the global level. LA remains the clear leader in the film industry, and it dominates within the television and music recording industries as well. LA exports very effectively its very unique contributions to sports and recreation, to the design of automobiles, motorcycles, trailers, and motorhomes, to factory contrived fast food and peculiar religious spirtual creations, and to sprawling suburban lifestyle that threatens our global environment. Although this introductory page remains under construction, I have already written a number of interesting tips for potential visitors to consider.
