They have good 70īs 80īs 90īs parties called "Hitfeest" every 3rd Saturday of the month. Entrance 21 and older. This evening is often sold out, so buy your tickets in advance!

Nightlife Spot: Schouwburg Amstelveen

The cinema often shows movies/cartoons for kids and one or two mainstream movies. Keep in mind that most movies for kids are dubbed, so if your kids do not speak Dutch, or you want to experience the movie in its original language, think twice before you go there.

Nightlife Spot: Filmhuis Griffioen

There is more to the movieworld than just your regular Hollywood-flick, which you can see in the regular theatres. Filmhuis Griffioen brings you the broad perspective by showing movies from all around the world. How about a little Japanese manga, some Hungarian drama, Swedish comedy or -dare we say- a Dutch film?

The films are shown in their original version, with Dutch subtitles.

Open September until the end of May, on every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with two shows every evening.
