"Pestani" Pestani by Pijlmans

Pestani is a village at Lake Ohrid, halfway on the road between Ohrid and St Naum.

The village is currently booming with tourism, as many hotels and guest houses are being built.

The village does not have a clearly defined center, but the center is along the rather busy road from Ohrid to St Naum.

In the summer, taxi-buses go between Ohrid and St Naum, you can just stop them and hop on. It is about 50 Denars (less than 1 euro) from here to Ohrid.

Pestani Beach

Pestani has a narrow but long beach, most of it still without bars playing loud music. But that may change any moment, given its popularity with the tourists.
