Hi there, My space here on VT is mostly about Macedonia. My girlfriend is from Skopje in Macedonia and we live in Amstelveen, close to Amsterdam in the Netherlands. However, we frequently go back to Macedonia. We like to hike in the beautiful mountains of Macedonia or any other place with mountains... If you are interested in Macedonia, check out my travel pages and tips about Macedonia in general, and the specific sections about the places we visited: Skopje, the capital of Macedonia and the artificial Lake Matka. The east side of Lake Ohrid: Ohrid, Leskoec, Velgosti, Ramne, Velestovo, Konjsko and Pestani. The west side of Lake Ohrid: Struga, Kalista, Radozda, Vevcani and Gorna Belica. Lake Prespa (Stenje), Konjsko and the uninhabited island Golem Grad. Mavrovo National Park, Galicnik, Tajmiste and Debar. Prilep, Krusevo and Bitola. Kratovo, Lesnovo, Stip and Strumica. The archeological sites Heraclea Lyncestis near Bitola, Stobi near the village Gradsko, Plaosnik in Ohrid and Skupi near Skopje. Hiking in Macedonia.
