kanchanabury is a nice place to visit After checking out Bangkok, we decided to travel north a bit and visit a little place called Kanchanaburi. My husband was really interested in seeing the Bridge over the River Kwai. We took a bus there and had a very comfortable bus ride, getting there earlier than thought. We rented bicycles and rode all around town, visiting the Jeath war museum (the one that the monks run) and the bridge (on the other side of town from the museum). This was a fun place to see, we enjoyed everything about it. friendly people, good tours, good food. what more could you ask for? We didn't want to leave..... Thailand was calling though. |
