    • If your want to gamble and win, DON'T do it in LV! Who do you think pays for the free and lavish roadside entertainment, the gorgeous and luxorious decor? Let's face it, the $ has to come from somewhere.

    Sign up for a FREE daily tour at your hotel to Laughlin (a 2 hr drive away) and you get better odds at blackjack. E.g. Laughlin's single deck blackjack wins 2 to 1but Flamingo's at LV wins only 6 to 5. You do your math. What's more, the tour throws in a buffet lunch and Hoover Dam tour for FREE.

    Try beating that in terms of value for $.

    • Unlike casinos in Asia, LV's casinos have a terrific ventilation system that not only keeps you cool but filters away awful cigar smells.

    It's a pity there's no smoke free gambling areas anywhere. Still, avoid smokers where possible for health's sake.
