We live only 2 miles away, so my relatives who travel in big RVs stay at the KOA and love it. The staff treats everyone like family, they have a pool and a big store/gift shop. I recommend it to anyone coming thru the Southwest on Route 66.
Unique Qualities: Nice pool, a putting green, you can fill propane, picnic tables, some shade trees (rare and valuable here in the desert).

Directions: East end of town, close to Interstate 40, but 1 block off Central where nighttime can be a bit dangerous.

Unique Qualities: Closed and sold and re-opened but haven't stayed there.

Haven't and wouldn't stay - a big push by Alb Mayor to shut these hotels down along East Central, where drug trafficing and crime is rampant.
Unique Qualities: Would have been a good place to stay in 1960s but now not good at all - please don't

Haven't stayed there but others have and been happy. Big parking area and shuttle to airport, only 5 minutes away. I recommend it.
Unique Qualities: Pool, jacuzzi, family-friendly. Happy hour drinks and snacks as well as complimentary breakfast.

Have never and will never stay there - the Albuquerque Mayor is pushing to get these East Central hotels closed down, due to crime.
Unique Qualities: Very old, not a good place to stay. May be shut down soon.
