This isn't fast food, it might seem like a tourist trap but i've been eating at Dicks all my life, it's always been good and it always will be. With practically everything on the menu under a $1 it's a unusual experience and all of the Dick's in Seattle are drive in 's except for the one downtown.
Favorite Dish: The special is great and the milk shakes.

This restaurant I never knew about until I moved to Queen Anne a year ago. A small treat tucked away at the bottom of queen anne hill downtown. Absolutely one of the top italian restaurants in Seattle. In a city this size there is so much to choose from but if you are in town and want to have a nice romantic dinner with some of the best food, wine and service then try this place on for size. They may even have specials going on, friends of mine paid for a package where a 5 course meal and a limo ride was included.

This is a great little restaurant with amazing food thats moderately priced! Its warm and inviting setting is a great place to meet friends and enjoy a great meal and a bottle of wine.
Favorite Dish: Any of their wood fired pizzas are great, and I highly recommend their homemade pasta and gnocchi! The pizzas are thin like authentic italian pizza so although they look big you'll have no problem finishing your own.

inside thai tom
This small restaurant located on the ave will serve you some of the best thai food you'll ever experience. With only 4 tables and then seats around the kitchen sometimes the wait is up to 1.5 hours but it's well worth it.

Spuds fish and chips
Some of the best easiest and cheapest seafood around. You'll find spuds at Greenlake in Seattle as well as Alki which is the best SPuds around. Right on the beach you can enjoy basic favorites for good prices. Nothing fancy about this restaurant, just good fish and chips for a good deal.

If you have the money and time this is the place to go. Located in Woodinville you'll never forget this tastebud wonderland that chef Jerry Traunfeld creates. A nine course meal paired with the perfect wine to match it turns any normal dinner into a celebration. Everything is included for $149
Favorite Dish: Pan-fried Mediterranean mussels served on rosemary sprigs with a red pepper-garlic flan and a shimmering sweet corn sauce as well as an herb-rubbed rack of lamb.

This is one of the best little cafe's you'll find. A family owned restaurant for 10 years now serves some of the best breakfast's and lunches you'll ever have. Don't forget about all the baked goods including fresh light whole wheat bread, egg bread, cinnamon bread, and milan bread one of my favorites which is a buttery flakey dinner roll. Other baked goods includes cinnamon rolls, scones, muffins, pies of all sorts, chocolate mousse, creme brulee, rum currant bread pudding and the list goes on. Check out this little cafe sometime if your looking for a cozy comfortable place to have a great meal.
Favorite Dish: Some of my favorites dishes they serve include the tuscan sandwich, which is fresh mozzarella, tomato, vinagrette and lettuce on focacia bread, their soups are amazing, made from scratch and some of my favorites include tomato basil, southwestern vegetable and clam chowder, they differ every day. The breakfast potatoes are amazing and the omlettes including the mediterranean and the schmomlette served with greens and fruit are the perfect low carb choice that leaves you feeling satisfied but not to full.

the owners of racha
This is one of, if not the best, thai food in Seattle and believe me you have hundreds upon hundreds of thai restaurants to choose from. Where teriyaki and chinese restaurants once were now lie thai food restaurants which doesn't bother me in the least, I love the stuff. To be honest chinese tastes very bland and boring to me now. Located on Mercer street and 1st avenue at the bottom of queen anne is this wonderful restaurant perfect for a casual lunch or fancy dinner. The place is fabulous inside, with a great bar and center kitchen surrounded by glass. It's just an experience you won't want to miss. Oh and it's not always necessary but I recommend making reservations just in case, I've had trouble before even with 2 people.
Favorite Dish: Of course the pad thai and beef salad (they call it the crying tiger), but their thai iced coffee's, racha prawn roll appetizer, and sesame oysters deep fried in panko are fabulous!

Sams Steakhouse
This restaurant is located right on Union Bay and has a fabulous deck with big wooden chairs to relax in during happy hour for dinner and drinks. We had a pitcher of beer, a couple well drinks, a basket of fries and some wings and our bill only totaled $20 or so. Their happy hour is wonderful, especially on a sunny day. Dinner is also delicious although I wouldn't reccomend the french onion soup a little too sweet for my likings.

Daniels Broiler Logo
If you are looking for a place to celebrate a memorable event head to Daniels for the best steak dinner in Seattle. This place not only has the food and service but the view to go with your dinner. I celebrated my 21st birthday at Daniels Broiler on Lake Washington blvd (200) and was a beautiful building with great service.
See below for the other Seattle Lake Union location.
Favorite Dish: Prime New York was an amazing and boldly flavored steak.
The jumbo prawn appetizer is also delicious.
