First visit in September 2005 During my first short visit in September 2005 I had the chance to explore Singapore and find out whether I would like to live here or not.
I liked that the city is green and that the air is much better than in other Asian Cities. The food scene is another highlight that I loved about Singapore. Public Transportation is great and Taxi rides are cheap.
I had no doubts about it and applied for a job right after my studies. Here I am, having a three years contract and I am really enjoying my time in Singapore! |
| | Sightseeing in Singapore Singapore is not a typical sightseeing city. Of course you can do a walking tour, sip your Singapore Sling at Long Bar, take a picture of the Merlion and go shopping in Vivo City. But the city has much more to show. Some small treasures, which you will only find when you have to chance to live here for a while. Some nice small bars, some very good local restaurants and some really nice buildings all over the city. |
| | Architecture One thing that I love about Singapore is the mix of old colonial style buidlings and new sky scrapers. Also the city doesn't stop to build new parks, new condos, MRT lines and soon Singapore will also have a Universal Studio and a Casino! Can't wait!! |
