"Penang - Food Heaven" a Penang Travel Page by Carino

I went up to Penang in February 2008. I heard of the great food, apparently the best in all over Malaysia. But I was not only impressed by all the good "makan", but also by the historical footprints of the past decades.

We spent a couple of hours just strolling through the narrow roads in the middle of George Town. Little India, Campbell Walk, etc.

The colors of the buildings, the architecture, the smells of food and spices.... all that makes me to visit again soon.

Penang also shares many religions. Islam, Buddhism and others can all be found on this little island. Mosques and Temples are sometimes just next to each other. Thankfully there are no (more) conflicts because of ethnic or religion.
