Kimch'on has just one cinema: Primus Cinema. It's a small cinema with 4 houses.

All english films are in english with korean subtitles. I'm not sure about the price anymore. Think it was about 8'000 Won.

Directions: On the mainroad. Turn right from the railway station. It's about 10 minutes to walk. The cinema is on the left.

Chikchisa Temple

In the west of Kim'chon you'll find the Chikchisa Temple (aka Jikjisa). That's one of the first Buddhist temples in Korea. That temple is famous for a monk called "Sa-myong" (Son'gun). He spent many years in Kumgangsan, fought the Japanese and became a national hero.

The entrance fee is W 2500.

Address: 216, Unsu-ri, Daehang-myeon, Gyeongsangbuk-do

Directions: Take Bus No. 11 from Kim'chon (W 800) to the final stop. From there it's about a 10 - 15 minutes walk. You can't miss it.
