No bridges to climb!

Lunch time in Padua
The main purpose of our trip to Padua was to visit the Scrovegni Chapel to see the marvellous Giotto frescos, but we also spent a little time in the city enjoying the novelty of not having to cross bridges!
After our time at the Scrovegni we inspected the Erementi, almost next door and marvelled at the restoration following its serious WW2 bomb damage.
We then walked into the main part of town, enjoying the arcaded buildings, generally vaied architecture and the bustling lunchtime crowds.
