While there are a couple of small convenience stores in Palm Cove, amuch cheaper alternative for food and drink is to catch the local bus to Smithfield where there is a small shopping plaza with both Coles and Wollworth's supermarkets, and discount liquor stores. The supermarkets will deliver to your unit for a small charge, provided your order is in by 2pm. There are also signs indicating that a Coles Supermarket will be built at nearby Clifton Beach.
