We stayed in a very reasonably priced, well equipped one bedroom apartment, complete with balcony and seaview.
It was equipped with air conditioners and fans, full kitchen, TV and comfortable dining and lounge furniture, as well as outdoor table and chairs. Clean and quiet. Low rise building but with a lift .
Property included a barbecue, pool (much colder than the sea) and sun lounges and undercover parking.
Unique Qualities: Apart from the above, a major asset was the service provided by Bruce and Judy, the host/managers. They were able to offer excellent advice, booked tours and hire cars and were always friendly. They even introduced us to the beach plovers that had colonised their car park!
As we were walk in customers we were able to negotiate a deal at $130 AUD per night for a one bedroom unit.
