What to buy: Latvian linen which is significantly cheaper compared to European prices.
Riga Black Balsam - a historical liqueur prepared from herbs, flowers, juices and medicinal roots (includes 24 ingredients).
Amber , the so called "Baltic Gold" is a very symbolic Latvian souvenir. It comes in very different qualities and colours.
Woolen sweaters, mittens and socks with Latvian folk symbols. As per my experience, these are the most appreciated gifts by all my foreign friends!!!
