Siena Rome's Nephew

by MJB123 - last update: Dec 24, 2004

A True Story...

THE place to be!
Legend has it that when Romulus killed his brother Remus his sons, in fear, fled the newly created city of Rome and founded the city of Siena. Some say their horses were black and white which is why the Duomo in Siena is decorated with those colors.
To me Siena is the birthplace of my grandfather who was born their in 1893. It probably hasn't changed much since then--fortunately.
