Too much to see in this area
Puno is known as the place to go to see Lake Titicaca, however, there is more to this area than that. On the Lake itself are the Uros Islands--contructed of reeds and the Isle of Takile with it traditionally dressed locals and their wispering children.
Usually people fly into Juliaca to see Puno (which I did) and while driving from the airport to Puno you should stop by Silustani--an Incan burial ground in a magical setting
