First of all.. you have to know that 'SZIGET' means 'ISLAND' in Hungarian.
So now I'm talking about the Island of Hajogyari which is in the middle of Budapest (above Margaret Island).
In the beginning of EACH AUGUST a festival takes place here FOR ONLY ONE WEEK...
This is the place for everybody! Everybody can find something interesting...
I would recommend you to have accomodation outside of the Island, but of course you can take a tant inside of it..
Be prepared once the 'SZIGET-feeling' gets you.. it will never let you go...! Aaaaand you don't need anything to get high! :-)
Im sorry to tell but almost all the photos are taken from the net, because I didnt want to take the responsibility taking my camera...

These are tants on SZIGET... looks so gorgeous... like an enchanted world...
There are also funny exhibitions among the woods and last year there were awesome lampions along the way!!

A strange tant called LUMINARIUM..
from outside it looks like a huge snail along the grass which is eating people waiting in queue to be able to get it:-)))
I was never inside myself, because there were a lot of people waiting for it.. I heard it is a big fun even though it is pretty hot inside during the day!!!
