I was born in Fairfield 40 years ago. Although I have traveled extensively in the US and Canada as well as Europe and the Pacific Rim I have never felt the need to leave my home town. The town has gone through some changes but for the most part it has not changed in size or character. It is still a small coastal New England town.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Scenic and quiet but only 1 hour outside of Mahattan
- Cons:The morning and evening traffic can be brutal
