Vila Praia de Ancora

Vila Praia de Ancora is a nice little village close to Caminha, and it is worth a visit if you are travelling by car. It is on the way to Moledo beach, so you’d better do both on same trip.

Vila Nova de Cerveira is a beautiful town, just a few km from Caminha. Here you will find a kind of central square with a beautiful church and some nice houses. A walk around the streets is a good option to getting to know this village. When approaching the village by car you will notice an animal made of iron on top of a hill, welcoming you to Vila Nova de Cerveira.

Beaches

Caminha is in a coastal area, so quite near you will find beautiful beaches. But beware: northern beaches are colder! But nevertheless quiet good and surely amazing. One of the most renowned beaches in this area is Moledo, so be sure not to miss it as it is very close to Caminha (by car).
