Portonovo was the nearer village to our rented beach apartment in Playa Montalvo; basically it served as a base to do some supermarket shopping. Portonovo has a fishing harbour which provides some nice photo opportunities.

Cany Bar sounds to be a great place - beautiful views and tasty seafood. Galicia is a part of Spain I hope to visit one day!

It looks like you made an excellent choice to spend some time in this beautiful coastal part of Spain! The Paris-Dakart motorized carts sounded a bit easier than a real trip to Dakar! Excellent tips on the beaches, your meals and accoms too!!
