Vantaa - the airport city

Helsinki-Vantaa airport might be the thing that Vantaa is best known for. So, most people who have visited Finland have also been to Vantaa (maybe unknowingly!) :)

To be honest, Vantaa hasn't got that much to offer with regards to sightseeing and other activities that might interest visitors. It is quite a pleasant place for living though, and what's best, Helsinki is not far. Indeed, many people live in Vantaa but work in Helsinki.
