If you enjoy bowling you should like this place a lot. On wednesday nights they turn off most of the lights and the bowling balls and the pins glow differnet colours in the dark. You can get food and drink brought out to your lane by the staff. There is also a large amount of arcade machines to keep the kids happy, or for those who are still young at heart. They have a bar and a cafe within the complex which offer nice food and drinks with perfectly good services.

Equipment: You don't need any as it is all provided, but you can use your own ball if you have one.

They operate 3 swimming pools, 2 sports halls, 4 squash courts, a 6-lane athletic track, grass and floodlit synthetic pitches, BodyWorks Fitness Room, Forest Spa Health Suite, BodyBeats Fitness Studio and Party Animals Children's Themed Parties. They also play host to a variety of sports clubs, leagues and championships. As one of the largest community sport and leisure facilities in the south of England, they run over 300 wet and dry courses in addition to a range of specialist sessions and activities during term-time and holidays for children, seniors and corporate members.

Equipment: It is probably best to bring the equipment you need for the activity you are doing, although you can hire equipment, but should you need something as simple as squash balls or tennis balls then you can buy them there.

The club became Bracknell Town in 1962, and Sir Raymond Brown proved to be a benefactor for the club when he gave a large amount of money for a new clubhouse with changing facilities, a referee's room and a hall complete with an overhang for spectators. All of these facilities were opened simultaneously by Sir Stanley Rous.

The new Larges Lane received its first major test in 1971 when an Amateur Cup tie with Newquay attracted 2,500 spectators.

As the club moved up through the Pyramid, a new brick stand and covered terracing were built, and further cover for around 300 people was installed in 1994 to meet the new Isthmian League ground grading requirements. This cover, built at the Mount Pleasant end of the ground, was renamed the Quinton Stand in 2002 in honour of Club President Jack Quinton.

For over 60 years, Larges Lane has been the home of Bracknell Town. It has seen thousands of games, of all kinds, and holds memories for many people of all ages. Development has been steady, and as a result you can watch a game, shelter from the elements, and have something to eat as you do so, all in a welcolming atmosphere. Whatever the future of Bracknell Town, the facilities and warm welcome will remain.

Equipment: None, just bring your friends.

Bracknell Rugby Football Club was founded in 1955 and moved to it's present location in 1972 with the premises being extended in 1980 and again in 1989. The Club established itself as one of the pace-setters, realising that if a club is to survive and prosper it must have a sound financial base upon which to work. It was this financial stability that enabled the Club to extend it's Clubhouse in the 1980's and further extensions in 1989, major refurbishment in 1993, with another successful tour to North America and redecoration on the Clubhouse exterior in 1995. Recent interior re-decoration has taken place, with more work on improvements to the Clubhouse facilities planned for the near future. It is hoped that these will include disabled access, larger Gymnasium, additional car parking and sponsors lounge.

Bracknell RFC had been aware for some time that their playing performances had not matched it's ambition and potential so in January 1992 the Club secured the services of ex-England and Wasps Prop. Paul Rendall as Administrator/Coach on a part-time basis. This appointment became full time in late 1992 as Director of Rugby and the progress made following it is there for all to see, promotion to Southern Counties in 1992/3, followed by a steady climb into South West Two (East), where they were runners up for two seasons becoming unbeaten League winners in 1996/97. Promotion at the 1st attempt from South West One was achieved in 1997/8 to take the club into the National League for the first time in it's history, but they didn't stop here last season the Club won National League Two and will be playing in National League One next year with the top 26 clubs in the country. The club was also honoured with a Civic Reception given by Bracknell Forest Borough Council together with an inscribed memento presented by the Borough Mayor, to mark the Club's achievement.
