  • Kam Kor means Bunnak flower in Tai dialect.Located opposite Phra Non Temple. This temple is one important temple of Mae Hong Son. It was built in 2433 B.E. The unique architecture style of this temple is a pathway covered with roof leading to the hall which decorated in Tai style.At the entrance of this temple,there're a pair of Singha guardian in Tai style. This temple also housed Tai manucripts decribed about History of Tai and King Anoratha of Burma. This manucript was translate to Thai language by the Abbot of this temple.

  • Nong Jong Kam is a big ancient pond located in the centre of Mae Hong Son. From the location,it's now as a pubic park for local where you can sail,relax or feeding fish. Every festivals which related to water in Mae Hong Son always held here, such as Loi Kratong or Songkran festival.

  • The old step where used to be an important way up to Doi Kong Mu. Nowaday,it just left as ruins and there 's a new one in another side.

  • Tor Pae means making a raft. This name derived from the location of this temple which believes that it used to be a community of rafting makers.They made rafts to control logs which floated in river for selling to others area. They associated to built this temple on the bank of Yuam river. The prominent buildings of this temple are a group of Golden Chedi and Layered Roofs Vihara or hall in Tai Style. A big hall for housing Buddha images,monks activities and monks residence which also built in Tai style.In this building also have an old velvet curtain which decorated with pearl,ruby and semi-precious stones for 164 pieces.And also,housed wooden pulpit which built in 2464 B.E. Others 're some wooden buildings like monk bathroom,monk toilet and pond covered. All 're well decorated with wood carving.

  • Muay Tor means the great relic in Tai dialect.This temple located on the route no.108 in the North of District. This temple have some interesting buildings such as Chedi in Mon style surrounded with small chedis. On the spire,decorated with metal umbrella and decorated with mini bells.

  • Wat Hua Wieng was founded in 1863 AD. and be as the second oldest temple in Mae Hong Son.The name Hua Wieng came from the location of temple which located on the North of city. It means head of city. So Hua means head and wieng means city. the The most important building is Viharn Prachao Phalalakhaeng where housed an important Buddha image named "Prachao Phalalakhaeng".This Buddha image 's a remodel of the real one in Mandalay,Burma.The Buddha image is in Subdueing Mara posture with full decoration. The viharn built in Tai architecture style with a multi tiered roofs decorated with carved aluminium, dated circa early Rattanakosin period (around 1873). As the important temple where located in toen,so every festivals always held in this temple.

  • This old temple was built in 2370 B.E. It 's the center of Tai culture and festivals with Jong Klang temple.All architectures in Kong Kum temple was built in Tai style. All main viharas or halls covered with multi tiered roofs called Prasart style as the palace of King or religious representative. The main hall housed a big Buddha images called Long Por To which built in Burmese style.

  • Located beside of Jong Kum temple.It 's the old temple of Mae Hong Son and built in the same period as Jong Kum temple. This 2 temple stood as the center of Tai culture and festivals.Jong Klang temple 's wellknown in artifacts which housed in temple museum. Such as the Remodel Phra Buddha Sihing image on the altar,wooden doll carved as person and animals from Vesantara Jataka,carved by Burmese artisans and brought from Burma in 2400 B.E. Another 's the painting on mirror depicted about Vesantara Jataka and Prince Sitthattha,and also lifestyle of local people.All pictures have a description in Burmese and recorded that it was built by Tai artisans from Mandalay.
