About The Gypsy My name is Nicole and I reside in Washington, DC USA. I am 31 and an avid traveler. I am currently training to run in a marathon and take a trip to one of my favorite countries...Morocco!! I firmly believe that one can learn more from traveling to other countries and meeting and learning about other cultures than you can learn from school. Throughout the next chapters I will share with you some of my favorite travel spots. My two favourite countries are Morocco and Spain. I have traveled all over Europe, from Ireland to Portugal and the Czech Republic, just to name a few. Pictures are coming for each of my travel chapters..... |

Living in Maui In case you can't tell from some of my pictures I lived in Maui, Hawaii for one surreal year. I highly recommend traveling to the Hawaiian Islands and visiting the spectacular beauty nature has to offer. While enjoying my year hiatus in Maui learned to body womp (body surf) become and expert snorkler, be within 30 feet of a whale in the middle of the ocean and see some of the most spectacular waterfalls of the world! |

Monthly Updates I like to let everyone know about my upcoming travels in this section and also what I am accomplishing in my life for the month. I am getting very excited about my upcoming return trip to Morocco the end of August. My friend Mark who lives in Amsterdam and I are trekking over to Marrakech, Essaouira and Agadir for some fun on the beach and in the souks! I can't wait! I am also currently training to run the Marine Corps Marathon this October 26th. Its my first one, the training is hard ( I never used to be a big runner) but I ran my first 10 miles last week in only 1 hour and 34 min. This is a huge accomplishment for me! I am raising money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society by participating in the run, so everyone please wish me luck!! Bisoux! |
