Birmingham is the second largest city in England. It is a multicultural city that boasts top universities, a great shopping district and an outstanding nightlife! That is why being a student in Birmingham has been a top city!!
Though I officially live in London, I spend most of my year in Birmingham studying Economics with French.
At first, I found Birmingham to be quite boring, because there is no hustle and bustle, like there is in London. Now, I have eaten my words! Compared to London, there is no hustle and bustle, but Birmingham is NOT a boring city, which you will see through my pages!
Many people do not know this, but Birmingham actually boasts more canals than Venice!!
One of these canals was the main transportation highway in the olden times - The Grand Union Canal connects Birmingham to London!!
The indian dish 'balti' was actually invented IN Birmingham!
