Imagine getting off a train and exiting the tube station to be surrounded by soooo many touristic sites that you would not expect to see? Well get off the tube at Westminster, and you are only a short walk away from Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye, the River Thames and the London Aquarium. You could honestly stand in one spot with a camera rotate 360 degrees and return home happy that you have seen alot!! This was really special to me, as I managed to show one of my friends the best bit of london, her having never seen it before. Being the one to have shown her that has made this area very important to me. But if scenery does not interest you, you can always take a boat ride from here along the river. Though the trip is short, you can manage to make many friends. I met an indian family, two guys from Taiwan and a couple from Italy!! So i can plan my future journeys, the bad thing is that I don't remember any names, though we donned one woman Lambda, after the mathematical symbol!!

Personally i hate this place because of one bad memory but u truly cannot stay in london without seeing the pigeons and climbing on the lions! it can be a bit intimidating being surrounded by so many pigeons but you are completely safe and they are more scared of you then them. i would not recommend feeding the pigeons if you're scared of them as they tend to get quite close. also, u must climb up the walls and try to sit on the model lions. but again if ur scared of heights or are with children, dont do this!

this is the biggest sikh temple outside of asia and alot of people feel proud to have it in London. this is truly a wonderful piece of architecture that can be appreciated from all angles. located in southall, you get to see alot of asian culture through the shops and the food, yet this temple remains to be one of the central figures in this town. i strongly enforce that u visit the third floor, which acts as a balcony as you will be able to see the whole of the temple. it is said that it covers the size of 2 football (soccer) pitches!!

its nice seeing where the queen lives. the surrounding area is really beautiful as well and at the moment its really nicely decorated as president bush is coming. and its huuuuuuuuuuge, amazing how it can look full when theres a lot of people there...like at the jubilee... anyhow theres a really fun game you can play here which has to be done when you come to london. its called 'make the guard move'...he doesnt...well not here, he did at the tower of london once...

i found it amazing that alot of these very walls were the very same that were used in the actual prison..even if it does seem obvious. having lived in london for 18 years (almost) i only visited it for the first time this summer and was still scared!!! but it was because im older and the 'victorian' people saw it easy to scare me, young enough to get scared, old enough to not cry!! but it really is remarkable how well this tourist site has developed and how popular i was. i arrived there at 9.30 in the morning and still had to wait for 45 mins! but it was wooooooooorth it!

some people say it is not worth going to madame tussauds as the queue is really long. those people have never tried to miss the queue by seeing the planeterium also. ok so its not the most interesting thing to see in london but if you desperately want to see madame tussauds then see the planeterium as well. not only do you save alot of time, you save a bit of money too..theoretically. i think its worth seeing madame tussauds, i liked making all the references to the stars and pretendng like i saw them wandering the streets...instead of in a hugh room with the faint smell of wax...

recently i took a boat trip from one part of london to the other. it was amazing!! the sights are excellent and it was well fun waving at the people on the other boats!! its an excellent way to see the city as well as meet people! at £7 per person roughly, it can seem quite pricy but its totally worth it!!

even seeing this from the outside is moving, knowing how many ceremonies have taken place here, and to be able to stand in the very place monarchy has stood is overwhelming. though it is only open on certain days, it is worth seeing.
