The Beach was clean and not very many people were present. It was very relaxing. LOTS of fun stuff along/in the water: sand dollars (partial and whole), turtle shell fossils, a turtle skull, and lots of beautiful shells of course. |
| | Shaded From the Sun All along this beach were covered huts for a bit of shade. You can even hang a hammock under them, which some did. There was a covered pavilion as well with refreshments. A beer vendor was right on the beach and some locals came right up to you on the beach to sell homemade goodies: food, hammocks, and mats to lay on. |
| | Missy & Dave Relaxing on the Beach This was our first trip to the beach since moving to Mexico. It took a little over two hours from Villahermosa. Not because it was far, but b/c the roads have lots of topes (HUGE speed bumps), and the speed limit changes constantly. |
