I visited Granada in February 2001 and dismissed The Palaces as 'historic ruins' as I was only there for a day looking for a wedding dress.
I visited again in 2003 - and made an effort to get tickets; ... there is so much more than I ever imagined, the artistry, the vision, the military grounds, the views, the gardens, the sheer volume of things to see is breathtaking. Go!
- Pros:Arguably, best Arabic architecture in Europe
- Cons:Alambra can get hugely busy, timed tickets

I so agree with your comments, and I feel sorry that your last meal in Spain was your worst...sounds dreadful. You do honest, informative, interesting, thorough work. Bravo!
