SalvAide youth delegation 2003

hi everyone...

my name's tatiana, i i'm originally from ottawa, but i lived in london, england on and off for about 5 years while i was studying. in between studying, I spent some time (6 months) living in sunny san salvador, working for an rural development NGO. i had a great time in Central America, enjoying El Salvador, and getting a few opportunities to see neighbouring countries, like Honduras, Guatemala and I even got as far as Chiapas Mexico, on a Christmas holiday (03-04) with my husband. The pic i've posted is from my trip in August 2002 with the youth delegation of SalvAide, a canadian NGO that supports development in El Salvador. hey this is a message for any CISVers out there. I was originally a member of the ottawa JB, until i moved to england. If you are passing through town anytime, be in touch. I've been to a summercamp in oosterhout, holland ('through the looking glass', 1994), I was kitchen staff at the ottawa summercamp ('free to be....(nerdcamp!) 1996), junior leader on the ottawa(canada) - campinas (brazil) interchange (1998-99), participant at the winter seminar camp in sao paulo, brazil (1997-8), and staff at the ottawa summercamp ('Heroes' 2001).

For our honeymoon in September 2003 hubby and me went on a road trip in a little blue ford that my dad bought us, From Ottawa to BC, through the states and back through Canada. It was a blast, despite the guilt at polluting our poor little planet even more...
