"Make sure you bring your empty jugs!" Blackville by 807Wheaton

Take a day-trip to Blackville, SC

If you mention Blackville, SC usually what comes to mind is Miller's Bread-Basket, the Mennonite restaurant that is the hub of this tiny town. Millers serves Pennaylvania Dutch food cafeteria style with a southern flair. Be sure to come hungry. The store also houses crafts, antiques and notions. 3 miles north of Blackville is God's Healing Acre Springs. Be sure to bring some empty jugs as the water flows freely for all who wish to have a sip or a container full. This is still cotton country and it grows plentifully here.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:This area offers leisurely drives in the countryside.
  • Cons:Tiny towns and homesteads are far and few between
  • In a nutshell:Nice stop while on a daytrip, once in a while.

So did the water help out in coming closer to God? I am moving closer to your area soon; Huntsville Alabama to take in warmer weather

It's so great to see God's Acre Healing Springs here on VT - and Miller's Bread Basket too. I visited the Springs and also had lunch at the Breadbasket once. Good memories. Wish I'd taken pictures.
