Taos Travel Guide: 176 reviews and 427 photos
We visited Taos in the month of August when the area is known to have their monsoon weather. You can see from the sky above the mountain that a monsoon was just over the top! It was and it did!
- Pros:Beautiful contrast in colors of blue and terre cotta.
- Cons:Rainy weather in August

Marcia, to me Taos still has the feel that Santa Fe used to have. I think you captured it well.
Taos looks so pretty. I'm a big Southwest fan too. Great picture of the Rio Grande - ah, one day....Penny
Lovely pictures of the Rio Grande Nice page here thanks for the virtual tour
Taos is one my favorite places - love the art and the relaxed atmosphere. Have a wonderful visit to France.
Taos is a very different and pleasing sort of place, isn't it? They don't call NM the "Land of Enchantment" for nothing. : )
We stayed (& skied) at Taos Ski Valley for a week some years ago. I'd like to come back some day & explore a bit more of not just Taos, but the Land of Enchantment itself.
