Sunny Day on Lake Michigan in South Haven

South Haven is on the Eastern shore of Lake Michigan. It's almost equal distance between Chicago and Detroit. South Haven now boasts a scenic harbor for a great boating environment. The beaches are clean and sandy. There is a charge to park the car near the beach. If you're really lucky you might get a sunny day! Pros:Has a nice sandy beach.
Cons:Can be cloudy and the water can be cold late into the summer.

Just returned from South Haven and loved it. We did eat at Clementine's and enjoyed it. Such great tips; wish I had thought to check them out before going!
