Vancouver, British Columbia
Vancouver Chinatown
Welcome to Vancouver, British Columbia! We visited this beautiful city in the summer of 2004 and stayed at a hotel near Stanley Park for five days. My first impression of the city was its culturally diverse population. This very international city cannot be compared to any other city I have been to in North America. From restaurants and shops of all kinds of ethnicity to Vancouver's beautiful beaches, parks, and mountain scenery, I believe this is definitely paradise. Vancouver is so convenient: From its fresh seafood to all kinds of merchandise you can buy, this is no doubt a very good place to live.

Enjoy the city of Vancouver!

What to do in Vancouver

A visit to Vancouver can't be rushed. You need at least three days, or preferably a week. The following are the places that I think are absolutely must-see's: Capilano Suspension Bridge, Granville Island, Gastown, Chinatown, Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, Vancouver Aquarium, Museum of Anthropology, Vancouver Museum. There are also some other museums that are also worth visiting. Robson Street is a good area to find a restaurant to eat lunch and dinner. Also be sure to head down to Richmond just south of Vancouver to visit the Golden Village, home to the second largest Asian community in North America, where you will probably feel that you are on the streets of China than Vancouver. Hope your visit to Vancouver will be a fun and memorable one!

Pros:"Culturally diverse, very international, clean, and beautiful surroundings."
Cons:"Can be expensive, the traffic, and a little crowded."
In A Nutshell:"I think Vancouver is the greatest city on the west coast of North America."

An exceptional page - I agree with everything you wrote. Looks like you had a fanatastic time and experienced my favourite - the good food @ Granville Island and the restaurants along Denman ;)
