We briefly stopped in Buffalo on our way home from Niagara Falls in order to try the famous Buffalo wings made at the Anchor Bar. The wings were absolutely delicious. The place was clearly very famous on a national or even international level: The walls of the restaurant were covered with memorabilia including autographed photos left by famous people. So if you're stopping in Buffalo, be sure not to miss this restaurant.
