If you're under the age of 21, you are not allowed to gamble or drink. They do check for IDs. Also, almost all hotels require a valid ID that proves you're 21 to check in. You can walk through the slot machines and casino areas, you just can't stop and get involved in the gambling. So really, the best time to visit Las Vegas is when you become 21 years old. But if you're with family, there are still there are a lot of activities for people under the age of 21.

You have a lot of good LV tips. I took my son when he was 14 and we enjoyed the Tournament of Kings, loved Lance Burton and went out to see Hoover Dam. I'm taking him back now that he's 21! |
