|  | Boulder City and Hoover Dam Hoover Dam is a must-see if you are coming to southern Nevada and the Las Vegas area. This dam is unlike any other dam you have seen: Its structure is extremely impressive and its location in a canyon, the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, make it even more a magnificent and breathtaking site. The dam is easily reached from Las Vegas via U.S. Highway 93. Boulder City is a town you will pass through while getting to Hoover Dam. The town has close links to the dam. In fact, originally the population of Boulder City consisted mostly of workers who were building Hoover Dam. Enjoy Hoover Dam! |
