In December 2004, we took our second trip to Los Angeles. This time we had almost a week to visit the area. We stayed in Anaheim in Orange County during the visit. The Los Angeles area is big. The freeways were very complicated to navigate and the traffic was always very heavy. However, I had a good impression of Los Angeles. The weather was excellent and the people were pretty friendly. There are a lot of excellent attractions here including the world famous Hollywood. Los Angeles is definitely an excellent vacation destination on the west coast of the United States.

Hollywood should be first on your list when you visit the Los Angeles area. Hollywood Blvd is where you will be able to see the Kodak Theatre where the Academy Awards are held. Find your favorite movie stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. When you are in L.A., you should also plan on visiting some theme parks, including Disney's two theme parks and Universal Studios. Each theme park requires an entire day. Finally, I also recommend going to Santa Monica for its excellent shopping opportunities and beach. Have a great time in the Los Angeles area!
