Welcome to Germany! As you might have read on my homepage, I have lived in this country for more than four years in the early 1990s. During the summer of 2003, I have revisited this country and the city I have lived in, Munich. The country is still very beautiful. The people are as friendly as before. Munich is one of the best cities in Germany and it serves as a great representation for the country.
My travel tips are mostly about Munich and its vicinity. I actually lived in Garching (bei Munich) which is north of the city. I recommend you visit some palaces around the Munich area including the one you see in this picture. I also recommend a few smaller cities around Munich including Freising.
