|  | Munich, I believe, is one of the best cities in Germany. Filled with excitement and many activities, the city offers a pleasant experience for everyone. Shop the streets near Marienplatz and the train station. Have lunch at a good German restaurant or have a bratwurst at a fast food place. There are many department stores downtown where you can find a lot of interesting things to buy. |
Munich is located in southern Germany in Bavaria. It is easily accessible by train, air, and car. The airport is located north of town. If you arrive by train, you will be put right in the middle of the city.
I lived in Garching for four years, which is located just north of Munich and is accessible by subway U6. It is a quiet, small German city and a great place to live. Please see my Garching page for details.
