|  | We visited Naples during our trip to Italy in July 2003. We had roughly two days in that area. We toured Naples for half a day, and went to Pompei and Sorrento for a full day. The city of Naples itself did not please me too much as the traffic, dirt, and noise were terrible. The port of Naples was a great spot to see the Tyrrhenian Sea and volcano in the distance. The castle by the port was also beautiful. Being the third largest city in Italy, Naples (and the surrounding area) is a must-see for foreign visitors.
