| | Padova is known for its dynamic economy, artistic buildings, and a famous University founded in 1222. Galileo gave lessons at the university from 1592 to 1610.
We went to Padova in July 2003 during our tour in Italy and Germany. The city is beautiful. The streets and buildings all look very charming and attractive. Padova is a good place to make a stop if you're going to Venice or Verona since it's located in between these two cities.
Enjoy Padova! |

deecat Tue Jul 13, 2004 03:12 UTC Hard to believe that I'm the first to see this wonderful page on Padova. Prato della Valle was quite interesting. Great photos of Basillica Di Sant' Antonio. Thanks for a terrific tour, Yan. |
