St Peter's - San Pietro: The greatest church on earth
  • Tip Rating:
  • very magnificient, see Michelangelo's Pieta on the right side as you enter St.Peter's. Climb up to the top of the church to get a breathtaking view of Rome. You can either walk or take the elevator for two stories, but everyone must take the stairs to the very top. The elders be advised. The climb is very exhausting, but it is worth it.

Vatican Museum & City: Vatican Museum
  • Tip Rating:
  • Rome Vatican Museum & City
  • Inside the Vatican Museum
  • by meteorologist1
  • Send Photo to a Friend
  • A must-see, one-of-a-kind museum. Very beautiful art, ceiling work. The highlight of the museum is Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. It's a must see! No photographs of the Sistine Chapel allowed though.

Inside the Museum: Don't get fouled by the signs leading to the Sistine Chapel. The Sistine Chapel comes as the last thing you see before you exit the museum. Spend more time with other things along the way. Some people think that they want to see the Sistine Chapel first, but you can't. Don't miss the other things!

Tickets for Adults: 10 euros. For students, it's 7 euros.
