| | Welcome to Trento, a small, quiet city in northern Italy. This is the place for you to relax and enjoy the views of the mountains. It is also the ideal place for you to walk the streets and shop. Unlike the big cities in Italy, you have a feeling of comfort here. Have a look at Trento's Duomo, which is also the city's center. If that isn't enough, walk a few blocks to see Castello del Buonconsiglio. Everything is within walking distance. Trento is also a convenient place to board a bus and head to Lake Garda (stops at Riva del Garda). It is a nice place to experience the quiet side of Italy.
Enjoy Trento! |

deecat Thu Jun 23, 2005 04:41 UTC Yan, I agree with you about the small cities in Italy. We stayed 68 days in Gaeta (between Rome & Naples). Your pages are perceptive, sincere, intelligent, appealing, informative. Vivid photos to accompany your terrific commentary. | lotharlerch Thu Mar 10, 2005 12:25 UTC A nice and informative page of a nice city in great surroundings which would merit far more attention. The first authentic Italian city when coming form the North.. | sandysmith Sat Sep 13, 2003 10:19 UTC seems a good choice for touring this part of Italy. |
