So you like to live life on the edge... If you want to see a big edge then visit the falls.

Canada is the side you want to be on when visiting the falls. The American side is ok. But for once the Americans must accept the Canadians have it bigger and better by a long shot.

Also if your'e visiting here in the early morning then bring a jumper. It was freezing when we visited in June.

Niagara may have the falls... but bring tourists and poor planning and you get bad results. Hence near the falls wherre all the hotels is tacky town. Lights, casino, and fast food outlets galore.

• Pros:The Falls are worth every cent. Maid of the Mist is a good add on.
• Cons:Tacky town. How they could do this to a natural wonder is beyond me.
• In a nutshell:See the falls... and get out. Try not to stay here perpetuating the tacky town next to the falls.
