Alice Springs - The mighty Todd river.

The mighty Todd river.

Alice Springs is a large township thankful for the existance of a big rock a couple hundred kilometres away.

Set up at a telegraph station originally Alice Springs is quintisential outback Australia.

Water doesn't flow here often. In fact you'd be hard pressed to time a visit to see the Todd River flow.

Cons:	"Full of rednecks. Residents don't seem to welcome tourists."
