Hilton Brisbane: Loaded to the Hilt Hilton Brisbane Review

The Brisbane Hilton is perfectly situated right in the middle of the city.

The hotel directly accesses the Brisbane City Mall which is the main shopping area of the CBD.

I love the restaurants in the foyer. Costs about $45 for the buffet dinner.

Room was decent. Queen size bed and all the trimmings of a good hotel.

Unique Qualities: The Main foyer of the hotel is actually on level 6 as below are 4 levels of exclusive shopping in the Wintergarden Shopping Centre and function rooms.

The Hotel opens up in the centre with a giant several story mural an open area giving the foyer restaurants a very open feel.

I like to go for the buffet. It has the best desserts which a mid range buffet does not even compare to.

Stamford Plaza Brisbane: Nice digs Stamford Plaza Brisbane Review

The Stamford chain of Hotels took over what was called the Heritage Hotel. This is considered Brisbane's finest hotel.

Located along the waterfront the hotel offers excellent views of the Story Bridge and across to the Kangaroo Point cliffs.

The hotel is well renoun as a wedding reception venue.

Unique Qualities: My experience with the hotel is limited to it's garden bar and BBQ restaurant area which is very nice.

Being one of the more exclusive hotels you do pay a bit more for a beer but the ambience is worth it.

Marriott Brisbane Hotel: Pretty swish Marriott Brisbane Review

The Marriot set up shop in Brisbane a couple of years ago at the northern end of town in a brand new building.

The Marriot has a very appealing look to the passer by.

Unique Qualities: The Marriot has some excellent function rooms. Perfect for the big dinners, wedding reception or conference meetings.

With Brisbane being my hometown I can't say I've stayed here so I can't vouch for the rooms.
