Nasice Travel Guide: 10 reviews and 11 photos
Nasice is a small town in Slavonia (population around 8,000) that is a great showcase of the history of this region. Its rulers changed many timed throughout the history - from religious orders of Templars and Franciscans, to Hungarian rulers, then Ottomans, followed by another series of Croatian and Hungarian noble families. The most notable was the rule of Pejacevic family that has left two manors in the center of town, surrounded by large landscape park that now acts as the central park of Nasice.
Not a destination that attracts thousands of tourists Nasice is a town that you should try to visit when in the area of Slavonia. The whole region is sort of Off the beaten track in Croatia, unfortunately, because it has a lot to offer in terms of beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
- Pros:Rich cultural heritage: a castle, two manors, gothic church
- Cons:Typical small provincial town in Slavonia
- In a nutshell:Another hidden beauty in undiscovered region of Slavonia

Lovely manor houses! Well done.
so are the nobility all tram drivers now - or something like that?
Niksa, lovely little page. I have been to much more touristy places which didn't have a Tourist Information Office. So I am surprised that almost every little Croatian hamlet has one. :-)
Manor houses with trains to serve dinner?Amazing. How the other half lived!! Interesting area. Like the sound of "little known."
Too pink?? Aber das ist unmoeglich! es heisst Die Gruene Zitadelle!! Wirklich! LOL!!
dont know a funny comment... but i was here ;)
What a beautiful place! I must say, I rather like the idea of having my dinner delivered by miniature train...I Ishall start ripping up my floorboards and track-laying immediately!
My god, I will never have the time to see all the beauty of this country by weekend visits, send me recruiting sites list links please. ;-)
Let me be the first to leave a comment on your another great page . As always, well done , Niksa.
